Leadership Mastery

The Leadership Mastery program is a holistic skill-building program, using a hands-on, close-to-real-world business simulation, that increases managers’ and leaders’ business dealings with others inside and outside their companies.

The Leadership Mastery program is about the “business of leadership”. While many organizations struggle to find leaders that have core interpersonal skills, still more have technicians in leadership roles who have difficulty working with peers, across matrix structures, and in sharing business vision with their stakeholders. At a fundamental level, all leaders have a need to be strong in planning, organizing and decision-making–but they must do this in conjunction with others in order to be successful. The Leadership Mastery program is a holistic skill-building program, using a hands-on, close-to-real-world business simulation, that increases managers’ and leaders’ business dealings with others inside and outside their companies.

Consider this program if you know:

• Decisions are made using only one method, usually autocratically or through abdication.
• Business expectations, standards and strategy are unclear.
• Results are achieved with others by relying on the leaders’ formal authority rather than stakeholder influence.
• Plans are incomplete and “unbought into” by others on a team or in the organization.
• Problem-solving occurs by a select group of people and buy-in to solutions is low.

Program Outcomes:

• Demonstrate leadership ability by developing teams, sharing ownership with associates and peers and managing change.
• Use business and technical knowledge to develop a business vision, make decisions using a variety of data sources and a systematic process and apply business knowledge.
• Apply interpersonal expertise by building trust with associates and peer, creating business partnerships, influencing others and communicating with impact.
